CALGreen 2010 Non-Residential Measures

This 90-minute continuing education course provides a basic understanding of the new State green building code, Title 24 Part 11 (CALGreen) for non-residential projects. Topics include the evolution of Green Building in California, implications for architectural practice, an overview of CALGreen Non-Residential mandatory measures and a brief summary of CALGreen Non-Residential voluntary Tier 1 and 2 standards. For those familiar with green building principles or existing rating systems, the course clarifies CALGreen requirements and discusses new requirements for water conservation, construction waste, low-emitting materials and building commissioning. For those new to green practice, the course highlights practical and achievable strategies to enable you to understand and design with the new code requirements.
