"Generative Space" as a method to design environments, is a concept that Dr. Wayne Ruga defined and developed to both systemically and sustainably improves lives, organizations, and communities.
Part One of the three-course series is an introductory primer that enables course participants to develop a basic understanding of this research-based, internationally field-tested, and extensively peer-reviewed design method. Dr. Ruga discusses how generative space design is emerging as a new “best practice” in healthcare, as well as throughout the broader spectrum of environmental sectors, and is a practical, cost-effective, and low-tech approach to improving overall effectiveness.
