In this 90-minute course, Phil Bernstein, FAIA, RIBA, NOMA, LEED AP | Professor, Adjunct at Yale School of Architecture, traces the evolution of recent technologies and examines the implications of AI for the future of architectural practice. Among the topics:

  • Where are the opportunities as algorithms move from automation with tools like BIM to autonomous generation through machine learning and AI?
  • What tasks will likely be automated through the use of AI?
  • How can incorporating AI improve project performance, enhance public health, safety and welfare, and benefit building occupants?
