This course meets the requirements for Net Zero Carbon Design for California license renewals and is provided gratis to AIA members courtesy of AIA California.

Non-AIA members can purchase this cost for $35 or buy a ZNCD Passport for $75 and select up to 4 courses to meet the required 5 hours for license renewals.

As natural disasters threaten large areas of the State, incorporating microgrids can promote resilience and are becoming an increasingly attractive option for communities, businesses and residents. This course illustrates how microgrids can make a positive environmental impact while providing financial incentives for exiting the traditional utility grid.

Upon successful completion of a multiple-choice quiz, a Certificate of Completion will be available for download and can be used to verify your licensure requirements.
