CALGreen 101: An Overview

This 60-minute continuing education course provides an introduction to CALGreen, the new 2010 California Green Building Standards Code effective January 2011. Dave Walls, Executive Director of the California Building Standards Commission offers insight into the state's code development process, specifically CALGreen, and the state agencies authorized to develop building standards. Walls explains how CALGreen fits within Title 24 and describes the code development process. Walls also provides an overview of the code layout and how local jurisdictions play a role in improving the impact of CALGreen.

This course is presented in high definition video and is available on computers, smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices.
